DAYTIME
The college offers courses to PLC students on a fulltime basis and on a part-time basis. These courses are open to Post Leaving Certificate students and also to mature students who wish to return to increase their skills level or to get a second chance at education. Over the years we have found that our courses have a good mix of those who have just left school and those who have been out of the system for some time. Courses run from September to May.

VTOS
The VTOS programme is open to those who have been on Social Welfare for more than six months. It enables students to return to education and to keep their benefits. Some travel allowance may be paid and assistance may be given toward childcare. Students on VTOS must follow a full-time course.

BTEI
Our part-time courses are run under the Back To Education Initiative. Those on Social welfare are not charged tuition fees and some assistance can be given towards childcare.

NIGHT CLASSES
The adult education night school has been in operation since 1986 and offers courses in a number of areas. We operate a two term system - September to Christmas and January to April. Demand for such courses is limited for many reasons outside the control of the school such as security etc. Also the daytime provision has an increasing impact on night time enrolments. However, the school is committed to continuing the night programme as a means of meeting the needs of some members of the local community.
