Last week the 5th Year LC and LCA classes visited Causey Farm for a well-deserved school trip. They were joined by their Year Head Ms Davis and tutors Mr Higgins, Mr McDonnell and Ms Walsh. They set off bright and early on a bus from the school and arrived in Meath later that morning. Morning activities included Irish dancing and pizza making. Even the teachers got involved in the dancing!
We all gathered for lunch where the students got to enjoy the pizzas they made from scratch. After lunch it was time for more activities such as petting calves, llamas and other farm animals, playing the bodhran and jumping into the bog. At the end of the day everyone got back on the bus exhausted after a fun-filled day and we headed home. Thanks to Ms Davis for organising a great trip.
