TYs Visit Go Quest

TYs Visit Go Quest

The TY students went to Go Quest in Carrick Mines on 14 February 2025. Before leaving for Go Quest, the students participated in a few Valentine's Day activities, such as making cupcakes and creating hearts to colour in. This occupied their time until they departed for Go Quest at 10.45am. The bus journey took roughly 25–30 minutes.

Upon arrival, they split into their teams, took a team photo, collected their lanyards, and watched a health and safety video before entering the escape rooms. They had 90 minutes to complete as many rooms as possible and score as many points as they could before time ran out.

Throughout the day, the students picked up loads of useful skills, like working together, solving problems, and communicating effectively. They also got better at thinking on their feet, managing their time, and keeping cool under pressure – skills that will surely come in handy both at school and in everyday life.

After the students had finished the escape rooms, they collected their belongings, took photos of their final positions, and boarded the bus for the journey home. They arrived back at school at approximately 2pm and were then free to go home for the weekend.
