The Collinstown Park under 15s bounced back from their defeat to St. Micheal's College with a comprehensive victory over Marian College. In a match that had chances at both ends in the opening minutes, it was Collinstown Park who opened the scoring. Once in the lead the Collinstown players took great confidence and never looked back. Some excellent play throughout the match led to some excellent goals in the first half, with Bobby Reddington scoring the pick of the bunch. After a run up the right wing by Brody Collins, Bobby curled the ball into the far corner of the net. The score at the break was 5-0.
In the second half, Collinstown once again started brightly and dominated possession. Constant pressure led to three more goals being added to the final scoreline, while the defence remained firm and kept a clean sheet.
The team are now due to play St. Micheal's in the regional final after Christmas.
