On March 20th 5 TY students were invited to go to Leinster House. They were working with South Dublin County Partnership as part of their Inspiring the Future project, along with 4 other schools. They started their Project in January and spent 3 Tuesday mornings in the Design Space in Tallaght learning different presentation skills and how to prepare for their presentation in Leinster House. The students decided to do their project on the topic of How Climate Change is Affecting their Local Area. On the day, the students presented their projects in front of a host of TDs, Senators and Local Councilors. Some of these people included Senator Eileen Flynn, Paul Murphy TD, Mark Ward, Gino Kenny, Senator Victor Boyhan and Adam Harris.
The students even got to say they were in Leinster House at the time Leo Varadkar announced his resignation!
