International Collinstown Park FET students hosted a party for fellow students on Thursday, November 7th in our sports hall. Students from as far afield as Ukraine, Kosovo, Somalia, Libya, Bangladesh, Turkey and Brazil came together to display aspects of their home countries’ cultures including delicious food for their fellow students to sample.
Collinstown’s ESOL Level 4 and 5 classes were joined at the event by FET students from across the courses we offer. It was a great opportunity for the groups to chat from Datacenter Academy to Beauty Therapy and from Hairdressing Studies to Healthcare, SNA and Business Administration.
The effort our ESOL students put in to provide a taste of their home countries was appreciated by all and evidenced by the popularity of the dishes among those in attendance.
