Our FET students took to Phoenix Park on Thursday September 19th for our now traditional scavenger hunt. In blazing September sunshine, a huge cohort of our FET learners set off on the well-trodden paths to Áras an Uchtaráin, the dog pond and the cricket crease to collect or photograph the 20 items on their list needed for the victory.
It was great to see students from all our courses battling it out on the day. It’s always a fantastic opportunity for our learners to meet people taking other courses in CPCC FET and this day was no different. Datacenter Academy, Special Needs Assistant, Hairdressing Studies, Beauty Therapy, Business Administration, Healthcare and ESOL students all joined forces across various teams chasing the elusive 20-point win.
In the end, four teams could be separated only via a tiebreaker question such was the level of competition on the day.
It was a super day out and great to see everybody enjoying themselves and meeting new people from across various courses.
Congratulations to a team made up of Nursing Studies, Social and Community Care and Hairdressing students on the win.
