Collinstown Park held its graduation celebration for Further Education students on Thursday September 5th in the College Sports Hall. On a night filled with achievement, graduates, their families and tutors joined in marking the endpoint of this stage of the students’ journey.
The night began with Principal Ms Pauline Duffy thanking the learners for their participation over the past year, noting the support needed from family to complete any course and finally thanking staff for their support of the graduates.
She added our door is always open for any past student of ours, whether for a piece of advice or when investigating further study options.
2024 Graduate Valerie Whelan summed up her experience of studying in Collinstown Park FET over the past year, noting the wide support received by the students from their tutors. She highlighted the many hugely positive outcomes for her fellow students upon completion of the course be that in new employment or further study.
Further Education Coordinator Ms Averil Whelan then congratulated students and their families on their achievements and encouraged them to put their new skills to best use in their communities.
Many Collinstown Park graduates now work within our community in healthcare, childcare, hair and beauty, education and business. The night was a great celebration of everything the Further Education graduating class of 2024 has achieved.
Collinstown Park FET is proud to work in partnership with Microsoft to deliver a two-year traineeship programme culminating in two industrial awards: CompTIA and CISCO.
