In early January, TY Students took a bus down to Dundrum, where they participated in ice skating. With the whole rink to themselves, the TY’s enjoyed their hour on the ice.
Although the majority of the TY’s could skate, there were without a doubt many falls on the ice, with no one left injured, just laughing.
For the minority who couldn’t skate, gliding penguins were available for use, some even used them simply for fun. The TY’s were supervised by the well-trained workers and their teachers who came along.
