On Friday, 6th December, all TY students participated in a trip to Jump Zone. The group was scheduled to meet at 10:00 a.m. in the Liffey Valley food court, where we began the day with breakfast from McDonald's. Upon arrival at Jump Zone, we were required to watch a safety video before proceeding to the trampolines. We were then provided with socks and divided into two groups for the activities.
The activities included dodgeball, wall running, an obstacle course, and a gladiator-style duel on a beam. A standout moment of the day was when Mr. Brennan joined the gladiator duels and impressively defeated every challenger. Despite everyone’s best efforts to beat him, none were successful, which added a touch of humour to the experience.
The session at Jump Zone lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes, during which everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. After the activities, many students opted for food or ice cream, though it was clear we were all in need of a shower after the energetic session due to the warm environment.
All in all, it was a great day out. Everyone got stuck into the activities, had loads of laughs, and just enjoyed hanging out together. It was one of those trips where everyone got along, which made it even better.
