Manchester United took the lead in the 52nd minute with Lisandro Martinez scoring a spectacular goal, assisted by Bruno Fernandes. However, just six minutes later, Cody Gakpo equalised for Liverpool, firing the ball into the top corner to make it 1-1.
In the 70th minute, Liverpool took the lead when Mo Salah converted a penalty into the bottom right corner following a foul in the box by Matthijs de Ligt, making it 2-1.
The drama continued in the 80th minute when Alejandro Garnacho sprinted down the left wing, outpacing Trent Alexander-Arnold. Garnacho delivered a pinpoint cross to the penalty spot, where Amad Diallo calmly slotted the ball into the bottom right corner, leaving Alisson with no chance.
The final score: 2-2, a captivating match showcasing skill and determination from both sides.
