In the middle of November, a group of Spanish students from just outside Barcelona came to CPCC school for two weeks.
Several students from our year group got picked to help out and show the students around and help them around the school.
They came over to learn English and experience Irish culture - they stayed in exchange houses around Dublin.
They had to come to school at 9 o’clock in the morning and they finished at 3.40pm.
After school they went to shopping centers and attended other excursions. One day our students made them an Irish breakfast which they never had before.
We made them eggs, rashers, sausages, waffles, beans and pudding! They really enjoyed it, we put it on a roll, and everyone was able to get their sauce of choice for the roll.
Several days we did Irish dancing together which is something they hadn't seen before, so they wore very satisfied we had to get a partner to dance with and learn them they showed us how to do Spanish dancing.
It was a great two weeks, and everyone made lots of friends!
