On the 10th of March, the Transition Years went to the Phoenix Park for a scavenger hunt. Despite poor weather conditions, the students met in the school at registration time and got a bus up to the park. The students split into groups of five or six. Each group was given a map and then sent off on the scavenger hunt.
The students had around one hour to take photos at the gates to the American embassy, the Phoenix Park monument, the hedges outside of Áras an Uachtarán, the gates to Dublin Zoo and a few other places in the park. The groups had to move quickly if they were going to get all the photos that they needed.
The TYs had a great time and took some funny photos. Most of the students agree that this has been their best trip so far and can’t wait for the rest of them.
