This week some TY students visited GoQuest In Carrickmines. On the trip TY students were tasked with solving challenges within an hour and thirty minutes, these challenges ranged from physical to mental challenges.
Goquest arena has 29 Challenges to play, though most teams didn't get to do all of them. These challenges included solving puzzles and completing some sort of task, an example of this sort of challenge would be the “Dragon's Dilemma”, where team members must work together to communicate and tell each other where to move obstacles to make a pair of numbers visible. Another type of challenge in GoQuest is a physical challenge, where teammates have to coordinate with each other and figure out what they have to do, for example they might have to hang onto a bar for 30 seconds in sequence or complete an obstacle course while dodging motion sensors.
After the hour and thirty minutes were up, the TY students were brought in a bus to Liffey Valley, where they were allowed to get food after an enjoyable and challenging day.
