Yesterday, Thursday, marked the first day of Transition Year (TY) for our incoming TY students at Collinstown Park Community College. The day began with students being placed into their respective classes and meeting their tutors: Ms. Lucey (4L), Ms. Campbell (4C), Ms. Devine (4D), and Ms. Keatley (4K). These tutors will provide guidance and support throughout the year.
Led by their Year Head, Ms. Mohan, the students were introduced to the structure and expectations of Transition Year. They also had the opportunity to meet the TY Coordinator, Ms. Kirwan, who will be overseeing the various activities and projects planned for the year. To mark the start of their TY experience, each class had their group photograph taken.
We look forward to seeing our TY students engage with the various opportunities that this year will offer as they continue their educational journey at Collinstown Park Community College.
