On Wednesday September 20th, the Transition year students went to 'Jump Zone' in Liffey Valley for their weekly trip.
They started the trip by meeting Ms Kirwan at the food court upstairs by McDonalds for a quick roll call to make sure that everyone was there.
After the check the group proceeded to go downstairs into 'Jump Zone' where they were then greeted by the friendly staff who showed everyone an introductory safety video and provided all participants with socks that included grip underneath them. These socks they give you are to stop you from slipping on the trampolines and getting injured.
Ready to start everyone was split into two groups. One of the groups went to the foam pit and the other went to the ‘dodgeball zone’. They had fifteen minutes on each section and then we had thirty minutes free on the trampolines.
Before it was all over, the students then got together for a group photo. The Transition Years had great fun, with some healthy exercise thrown in! After this it was time to go home.
